Bare in mind, these are early versions of the figures and they will no doubt change before the Jurassic World Hasbro line hits retail in the Spring. Don't be quick to judge and keep an open mind until the rest of the line is showcased and closer to release.

For us, we're impressed and can't wait to add some of this new Jurassic Park assortment to our collections! And, how great is it that none of these are JPIII repaints?

Look for the Jurassic World toys to hit retail this Spring! Toy Fair is just around td corner, so there's much more to come. Stay Tuned!

X-Plus Gamera Coming This Spring

The next addition to the Real Master Collection from X-Plus has been revealed, and it's one fans of the Gamera films will surely want to add to their monster shelves! Check it out below.

Product Size: Height Approximately 32cm, Length Approximately 38cm
Material: Poly Resin
Specifications: Painted
Package: Blind Box
Shipping: Late March – Early April 2015
Price: ¥29,700 (Approximately $252.67 US, Tax Included)

The aggressive Gamera design from GAMERA 3: REVENGE OF IRIS (ガメラ3 邪神〈イリス〉覚醒, Gamera 3: Jyashin Iris Kakusei, 1999) kicks off X-Plus’ new Real Master Collection PLUS line of statues with bonus features.

First released as a soft vinyl figure in November 2013, the Real Master Collection PLUS: Gamera (1999) is based on the “Limited Damage Version” sculpt and includes the wounds to Gamera’s shell and stomach from his battle with Iris. The statue is constructed of poly resin to allow a higher degree of surface detail than possible with vinyl.

Gamera’s right arm ends with an exclusive light-up “vanishing fist”, using LEDs to recreate a burning effect.

This item is sold exclusively online by Shounen Ric and will not be available from retail stores.

This thing is awesome! Not only does Gamera feature a highly detailed sculpt showcasing his wounds from battle, but how cool is that LED vanishing fist? This would be a great companion piece to the MonsterArts Gamera coming from Bandai this February.

It sure is a great time to be a Gamera fan!

Look for this statue to release, exclusively online through Shounen Ric, this coming Spring.

Funko Announces New Evolve Action Figures

Hitting shelves on February 10th, Evolve is an asymmetrical multiplayer game, pitting four player-controlled Hunters against an alien Monster, controlled by a fifth player.

Now, in celebration of the upcoming title, available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, Funko will be releasing some all-new Evolve Legacy and Pop! Vinyl action figures for collectors to call their very own! Check them out below!

The Legacy Collection: Evolve

The Legacy Collection was one of the most talked about Funko lines of 2014!
Upon the line’s debut at New York Toy Fair, IGN named the Legacy Collection as one of the “Top 5 Coolest Things at New York Toy Fair 2014″.

We are excited to continue the collection and present you with the Evolve Legacy Collection.
Each Premium Action Figure will feature 20+ points of articulation and include removable accessories.

Making up the Legacy line will be the alien Goliath, Hank, Maggie, Markov and Val.

But wait, there's more! Funko will also be releasing a series of Evolve Pop! Vinyl figures as well! While the hunters will be in-scale with past Pop! figures, Goliath will be super-sized at 6" tall! As with the Legacy line, Pop! versions of Hank, Maggie, Markov and Val will be made available upon release.

While we aren't huge fans of the Pop! stuff, we will admit that that Goliath looks pretty sweet indeed. However, our money will be going to the Legacy figures, they just look too awesome to pass up!

What about all you collectors out there? Any of these grabbing your attention? Look for the Evolve Pop! Vinyl figures to hit in March, with the Legacy line arriving one month later in April.

And, for those who haven't yet, be sure to check out the trailer for Evolve, available February 10th for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, below...

NECA Uncovers Quarter Scale Batman Returns Penguin

A dark and demented take on the character if ever there was one, NECA's next Quarter Scale figure is ready to embrace the Tim Burton beastliness of The Penguin as he appeared in 1992's Batman Returns. Take a look at this amazing piece, featuring the likeness of actor Danny DeVito, featuring one of the most authentic sculpts we have ever seen.

From NECA:

Introducing our first-ever action figure from Batman Returns!

We are proud to present this 1/4 scale rendition of the Penguin, featuring the likeness of actor Danny DeVito, whose memorable performance as the twisted Oswald Cobblepot in the 1992 movie still defines the character. The fully poseable figure stands 15″ tall and features synthetic hair and a movie-authentic sculpt. Penguin comes with a removable fabric coat trimmed with faux fur, removable top hat and umbrella accessories.

Loaded with extraordinary detail, this figure is a must-have for Batman fans!

Danny DeVito defined the classic Batman villain for a generation, and, although much more twisted than that seen in the comics, it was one of the most memorable villain performances from over the past 13 years. Be sure to pre-order this one as soon as possible! Being such an iconic take on the character, this one is sure to sell out fast!

Look for this one to hit retail this coming June.

Terry Crews Wants To Play The Silver Surfer

Brooklyn Nine-Nine and The Expendables actor Terry Crews has voiced his desire to take up the role of a superhero more than once. Of course, most of this desire comes from wanting to portray Luke Cage, a role that recently went to actor Michael Colter in the upcoming Netflix series A.K.A. Jessica Jones. But, Mr. Crews isn't bowing out of the superhero game just yet.

During a recent Ask Me Anything session on Reddit, the actor revealed he has a back-up superhero in mind now that the role of Luke Cage has been cast.

Again... it's hard to pick a favorite super-hero. I always did love Luke Cage, and I'm really, really happy about who they cast in the Netflix version of Luke Cage. So that's something that's already done. But you know who else I'd like to play? The Silver Surfer. I always LOVED - I thought I had the build, the body, I could get on that surfboard, and if they ever do a live-action version of Silver Surfer, I think that would be perfect for me.

The Silver Surfer has already appeared on screen in Tim Story's disappointing Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer. In the film, the character was CG and voiced by Laurence Fishburne. With Fox already planning a sequel to their upcoming Josh Trank Fantastic Four movie in 2017, perhaps we'll get a chance to see the actor take up the role of Norrin Radd in a future superhero flick sooner then we think.
