Jared Leto Wants To Appear In The Batman

Jared Leto isn't looking to step away from The Joker role following Suicide Squad. In fact, that actor looks at David Ayer's film as simply an introduction to the new Clown Prince Of Crime.

“I hope it’s an introduction (of the Joker) … and not the end!” Leto said speaking with The Toronto Sun. “Because I could easily just play the Joker a couple more times and then retire. Because it’s so fulfilling and so creative and it’s so imaginative. It’s really difficult to think about doing anything else!”

And what is Leto hoping for most of all? To square off with Ben Affleck in The Batman.

“I think it would be incredible to see Batman and the Joker go head-to-head! This Batman and this Joker. I mean, I don’t know, that might be too much! But that would be fun,” he explained.

Well, Affleck has previously said he's hoping The Batman will be the ultimate Batman movie.

Can you really pull that off without The Joker? We think not!

Look for Jared Leto to debut as The Joker in Suicide Squad on August 5th.

Kotobukiya have updated their official website with a new product page for their upcoming 1/10 scale DC Super Powers Wonder Woman ARTFX statue. Featuring a classic look, the statue is based off the 1980's toy line from Kenner and features her iconic lasso of truth and a magnetic base.

From Kotobukiya:

Kotobukiya’s groundbreaking DC Universe Classic Series ARTFX+ Statue lineup brings you brand new non-articulated comic book characters based on vintage 1980’s Super Powers action figure sculpts enlarged to 1/10th scale. Joining previously released figures including Batman, Robin, Aquaman, and Hawkman is the first heroine in the series, the fabulous WONDER WOMAN!

Retro is in and you can celebrate the great action figures of yesteryear with this vintage-inspired Amazonian hero resembling a classic five points-of-articulation toy. Kotobukiya honors the nostalgic feel but updates the design with a tremendous new sculpt; collectors will immediately recognize the inspiration for this figure while appreciating her feminine and tough look. Wonder Woman stands ready for battle wearing her iconic red, yellow, and blue costume complete with red and white boots, blue bracelets, and yellow tiara. She even clutches her magic lasso in her right hand!

Sculpted by Naoya Muto, Wonder Woman Classic Series ARTFX+ Statue stands just under 7 ½ inches tall (1/10th scale) on her included magnetic display base with perfect stability. Wonder Woman looks great on her own and pairs perfectly with her friends like Superman, Batman, Aquaman, and more!

Hasbro Reveals New Transformers: Titans Return Figures

San Diego Comic Con may be over, but that doesn't mean we're finished with awesome toy news for the year - not by a long shot! Now Hasbro has released a nice batch of official images showcasing some previously unseen Transformers: Titans Return figures.

Below you can check out some awesome new figures including:
  • Titans Return Titan Masters Fangry and Ptero (Swoop)
  • Titans Return Legends class Kickback
  • Titans Return Deluxe class Rodimus
  • Titans Return Voyager class Optimus Prime
  • Titans Return Leader class Sixshot
  • Platinum Edition Unicorn

What do you think, Infinite Earths fans?

We're really loving the new Deluxe Class Rodimus figure, especially his Dome Zero alternate mode, it just looks so close to what we saw in the animated movie back in 1986! Also, Sixshot is a must own for us, and not just because we owned the original figure and loved his role in the Headmasters animated series from Japan!

Oh, and for those wondering, the gun mode was opted out for a submarine due to US laws.

Still, Sixshot, along with all the other reveals seen above, look to be pretty neat!

Look for these awesome Transformers figures to hit stores soon.

They were previously showcased at Cybertron Con 2016 earlier this week.
