Katee Sackhoff Joins The Flash

Actress Katee Sackhoff has joined the cast of The Flash.

Known for roles on Battlestar Galactica and Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Sackhoff has joined the hit DC Entertainment drama in the role of Amunet Black, a.k.a Blacksmith. The character is described as a steely and badass boss of an underground black market for supervillains.

Amunet uses every means possible, including the long list of metahumans under her thumb, to ensure her illicit enterprise thrives.

Sackhoff will make her DC TV debut in the fifth episode of the show's upcoming fourth season, which is entitled Girls Night Out, and serves as a mini crossover with Arrow.

Interestingly, this will not be Sackhoff's first foray into the world of DC Comics. Back in the Fall of 2011, she voiced the character of Detective Sarah Essen in an animated take on Frank Miller's iconic 1987 graphic novel, Batman: Year One.

The Flash speeds back to TV screens on Tuesday, October 10th at 8pm.

Wonder Woman Crosses $800-Million Worldwide

The first female led superhero blockbuster has crossed $800-Million worldwide.

Wonder Woman now ranks as the second highest grossing DCEU film behind Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice, and is the third highest grossing Warner Bros. film domestically. Currently, Wonder Woman is the eleventh highest grossing superhero film in box office history, and is expected to surpass the North American total of Sam Raimi's Spider-Man before the weekend is out.

This number will continue to climb in the coming days, especially next Friday when the Patty Jenkins movie finally makes its big screen debut over in Japan.

In short, Patty Jenkins will most likely get what she wants to direct Wonder Woman 2 - and she deserves every last penny of whatever that final number may be.

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.

Starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Elena Anaya and Lucy Davis, Wonder Woman is in theaters now.

Will Princes William & Harry Cameo In The Last Jedi?

Ever since Princes William and Harry popped by the set of Star Wars: The Last Jedi last spring, many have been wondering if the Royal duo could possibly have cameos in the film.

Now, John Boyega has hinted that this could very well be the case.

Speaking on BBC Radio 4's Today, the actor was asked about said rumors.

"I think they took that scene out," Boyega said jokingly, then added: "I’ve had enough with those Prince William secrets, man. They came on set; they were there, man. Tom Hardy was there, too – I said it. I’m sick of hiding this."

The actor, who plays former Stormtrooper Finn in the sequel trilogy, said questions had dogged him ever since the rumors first began back in April of last year. After a series of images were released last year of the princes on the set, several outlets began wondering if the heirs to the British throne would be appearing as Stormtroopers in the movie.

On the radio program, Boyega stopped short of stating that the two princes and Hardy were definitely in the movie, or had even filmed cameos, saying only that they had all been on set.

This would not be the first time a famous face was hidden behind one of the faceless white helmets. Current James Bond actor Daniel Craig made an appearance as a Stormtrooper in The Force Awakens back in December of 2015.

Starring Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Carrie Fisher and Laura Dern, Star Wars: The Last Jedi opens in theaters this December.
