Back in April we learned that Warner Bros. was working on a live-action Titans TV series for their upcoming DC Comics digital streaming service. And today, the first character was cast.
Deadline reports that 13-year old Australian actress Teagan Croft has joined the series in the role of Raven. In the pages of DC Comics, this active Teen Titans member is a powerful empath, and daughter to powerful and villainous Trigon.
The new series hails from Akiva Goldsman, DC Entertainment president Geoff Johns and DC TV visionary Greg Berlanti. The series will follow a group of young heroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe, and center around Dick Grayson (Robin) as he emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes, including Starfire, Raven and many others.
Titans will debut in 2018 as part of the DC Comics digital streaming service.
It will be joined by the highly anticipated third season of Young Justice.
